Refund policy

Returns
Our policy lasts (fourteen) 14 days after receiving the artwork. If (fourteen14  days have gone by since your purchase arrived, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original condition. 

We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within (ten) 10 days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. So, if you receive artwork you’ve purchased from the  Paint like A Bird Sings Shop and are not fully satisfied, you have:

(Fourteen14 days to contact us about your intent to return the work 
(Fourteen14 from the day you contacted us to ship out the artwork back to us. 
***Do not ship the artwork before contacting us; you must first contact us.*** 
If you do not notify us of your intent to return the work within (fourteen14 of receipt or you do not ship the work within (fourteen14 days of notifying us, you will NOT be eligible for a refund.

How to Return an Original, Undamaged Artwork
Step 1 – Within (fourteen14  days of your merchandise delivery date, please send an email at shop@paintlikeabirdsings.com to give us your order information and the reason for wanting to return the work.

Step 2 – Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials used by us. If you’ve already disposed of the original packaging, or if its damaged you’ll be responsible for purchasing packaging materials to send the artwork safely back to us.

Please ask for our Packaging Guidelines for instructions on how to safely package artwork for shipment.

Step 3 – To return your product, ! only after our confirmation e-mail of receiving your reason for return!

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If a returned item is shipped international, please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS', to avoid any Customs charges. We are NOT responsible for any return Customs charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

If you are shipping a painting back you are strongly advised using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item!


Refunds (if applicable)
Once the artwork safely reaches us and is inspected for no damage, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and the amount owed will be refunded to your original source of payment in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order (minus shipping costs and international customs fees, if any) usually within 7-10 business days of your merchandise return.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
